All for the Children

A quote about children and their importance, according Matthew 19:14 "Jesus said, Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Children are important, and they too can make a social change.

The title of the book is "Joseph and His Coloured Coat". I love this story because as a child Joseph had dreams, and from young he was a leader despite his social interactions with his brothers he continued to stand on what he believed in. Joseph believed in God and the plans and purpose for His life. Each child has to have something to believe in, and must be able to believe in themselves and have self worth. Joseph was showed immense love from his father, and from that love he would have found self worth. Though everything didn't go as he thought it should as he grew up, he had a foundation to stand on. Children need a good foundation at the beginning of their lives, this may make or break a child. At the end of the story Joseph was able to make wise choices which benefited the society in which he lived in.

    Kiendra, I sure would like to read this book myself. From your synopsis of the story, I believe that it has an inspiring story to tell. I too believe that children do need a strong foundation in order for them to prosper.

    I love the picture of the little girl. Is this you as a child? What is the uniform was it Brownie Scouts? also love the scripture. I strongly believe that we must raise our children to know and love God. It is because of him that everything that we have and everything that we accomplish are possible.       Hi Deon thank you. Yes the picture is of me as a little girl and the uniform is for Brownies, I had probably just gotten the uniform to wear.

    Hello Kiendra,I love that fact that you choose a children's quote that has biblical implications. Children are important and their ideas, feelings, and opinions should be valued. Also the picture of the little girl is very cute as Deon Burns stated.

    Hi Kiendra,
    You have a great facing for your blog. I agree with the biblical quote as well. Joseph in the bible had difficult time. Its not how we began our journey its how we finish our journey. As he endured all the pain he discovered that he could make it despite the wrong done to him.
